the miraculous Chinese?

Despite the widely held belief, being corroborated daily by archeology and DNA analysis, that all humans originated in Africa, spread out to different parts of the world and developed racial differences, Pippen points out that many Chinese scholars hold the somewhat miraculous belief that the Chinese people originated independently in the land of China, with the Peking Man of Zhoukoudian representing a phase in their unique evolution.

“Bearing in mind that these same scholars believe that their nation is far superior to others, had a thriving and prosperous civilization pre-dating Sumer and their people were the first migrants -- migrating throughout the Americas and the regions along the Pacific Rim, becoming the Indian tribes in the Americas and the East Asian ethnic groups in the South Pacific,” says Pippen, “their belief is understandable, but could it be true?”

“Surely geneticists have proven without any doubt that we all emerged from the same ancestors?” asks Pippen. “If they truly believe that Peking Man is separate and distinct from all of the other human ancestors then the Chinese are being fooled in a most racist way.”

“The only thing miraculous about the Chinese is their economic miracle,” says Pippen, “and that was achieved by pretty brutal means.”
